Michael Whyke

Michael qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 and has an extensive knowledge of business, in that he was a partner in a 12 partnered firm of Chartered Accountants based in the West End for 25 years. He started CH International, an international association of Accountants, who operate in 26 countries. He was also a founding director of the corporate finance arm of the practice and has the CF Qualification.

He has raised funds for all sorts of businesses over the years and specialises in structuring inward investment. This has allowed investments to be made in diverse businesses, from cosmetics to manufacturing companies to films (Ladies In Lavender).

Michael’s breadth of experience allows companies to access his many years of experience to help them start, flourish and expand.

Matthew Beeson

Matt has spent over 25 years in the financial services sector starting out in personal finance and employee benefits before moving into the corporate finance sector. With extensive experience in the the asset based lending sector and financing businesses in distress Matt is a keen advocate of the “turnaround culture,” and former Turnaround Finance Group Committee Member, and believes that many businesses are to quick to be placed in to formal insolvency when viable alternatives exist for both the business and it’s creditors.

Gez Wilmot

His career spans some 35 years in the financial service sector. Most of this has been in consultative and advisory roles mainly in the B2B & B2C sectors. He’s advised Companies at boardroom, senior management level and High net worth individuals on Corporate finance, Property lending, funding, investment and pensions advice.

As a Director In 1992 he helped establish one of the fastest growing independently owned UK brokerages of its time with two UK head offices and 5 satellite offices employing 200 personnel with in excess of a 20 million turnover. After the business was sold in 2001 he has been involved in several start up/new businesses. He regards himself as a prolific networker and will inevitably know someone who can assist with a client’s requirements! Qutub Yousafali

Qutub Yousafali is a seasoned banking professional who brings 40 years of experience and expertise to the table. During his long working career, Qutub has gained extensive experience in compliance, business & expansion strategies, investment analysis, feasibility studies, financial accounting and auditing.

Starting his professional career in the City of London, Qutub qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 and has since held several executive roles at international banks in the Middle East. At Bank ABC, Qutub headed the team responsible for business expansion which provided him with experience in setting up greenfield banks/FIs, acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, etc. of target entities in various MENA countries.

More recently, he has held the position of Group Chief Compliance Officer, at two large international banks headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain for a period of over 12 years. In these roles, Qutub was responsible for overall compliance risk management which entailed developing a robust framework for compliance, as well as overseeing compliance functions and activities, including regulatory compliance, corporate governance, anti-money laundering & combating terrorist financing, and international sanctions across the network of offices worldwide. In both these banks, Qutub played a pivotal role in enhancing the culture of compliance and raising awareness of the major changes taking place in the regulatory landscape in the region.

Qutub was the founding member of MENA Financial Crime Compliance Group (2016 to 2019) (https://menafccg.com/) which is a voluntary body that seeks to bring collective action in the fight against financial crime – money laundering and terrorist financing in the region.

Ian O'Brien

Ian O’Brien has had ownership participation in various Post Production facilities. Foremost in the 90’s was Seventy Plus Productions Ltd. SPP produced in excess of 600 Documentary Productions for such companies as BBC Worldwide, A&E, The History Channel etc.

During the period 1999 -2001 he set up a Film Department at Teddington Studios. This Department catered for some of the major Productions for British TV and Feature Films. From 2001 to date Ian has developed film finance businesses as a director and executive, and has been Associate Producer on the Feature Films: ‘Plato’s Breaking Point’ which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, and ‘Asylum’ which won the Jack London Award at the Napa Valley Festival in California.

As an Executive Producer he has participated in the funding of Gerry Anderson’s ‘Captain Scarlet’ and currently the Feature Film ‘How I Found Memphis’ with Matt Dillon & Danny Glover. In 2006 Institutional backing was sought and secured, to establish a new TV co-financing entity.

Yvette Hoyle

Yvette Hoyle is the CEO of Coppola Productions Limited.  She has an extensive network in TV/film and has a wide range of diversified skills from production, project management, PR, marketing, sales, packaging deals and raising finance.
